Reach companies in reorganization before the news does. Under the WARN Act, US employers with 100 or more staff must notify the state 60 days before a plant closure or mass layoff. This Actor reads those notices from 12 states (NY, CA, IL, WA, TX, PA, NJ, NC, VA, MD, CO, WI), deduplicates them, finds the company website and reads it for email, phone and LinkedIn, and returns one lead per notice.

What it does

  • One row per notice: state, company, location, employees affected, notice date, effective date, notice type and the link to the state source.
  • Company website found in three steps: a local index of 1,900 company domains, the SEC EDGAR company register for listed companies (with ticker and CIK), and a paced web search as the last step.
  • Contact details from the company website: email addresses on the company's own domain first, phone numbers, LinkedIn page and the contact page that was read.
  • Filters on states, window in days, minimum number of employees affected and company name.
  • A notice without a found website is still delivered, with the website and contact fields empty, because the WARN facts are the lead.

Pricing

$30 per 1,000 leads ($0.03 per notice), charged only for notices that land in your dataset. An empty run costs nothing. A test over all 12 states with a 30 day window returned the 40 newest notices for $1.20: 34 with a company website, 15 with a LinkedIn page, 13 with a phone number and 6 with an email address.

When to use which

For the notices themselves without contacts, at $2 per 1,000, use the WARN Act Layoff Notices Monitor. For companies that are hiring rather than cutting, see Companies Hiring Now. For public buyers with a budget, see Tender Leads with Buyer Contacts.

FAQ

Are the emails personal addresses?

No. They are the addresses the company publishes on its own website, such as info@, hr@ or press@.

Why has a lead no website?

The company name was too generic or too new to match the index, EDGAR or the web search with confidence. The notice is still delivered, with `website` empty.

Which states are covered?

NY, CA, IL, WA, TX, PA, NJ, NC, VA, MD, CO and WI. Texas publishes through an open data set that has not been updated since June 2026, so Texas may return nothing until the state resumes publishing.

How do I get only new notices?

Run it on a schedule and de-duplicate on `state`, `company` and `noticeDate` in your sheet or CRM.
