Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for DataSignals Lab: what data we collect (your email at signup or purchase), which processors we use (Lemon Squeezy, Resend, GoatCounter, Netlify, Apify), and your rights.

Last updated: 8 July 2026

DataSignals Lab turns official public sources into scored, decision-ready reports and signal feeds. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who processes it, and what your rights are.

In short: we collect your email address when you subscribe to the weekly digest, request a free preview or buy a report. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Site statistics are anonymous and cookieless. The signal data in our products is public official data and contains no personal data of our visitors. Unsubscribe works in every mail.

What we collect

  • Your email address. When you request a free preview or buy a Snapshot or a DataSignals Pro subscription, the checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy and your email address is captured there. We use it to deliver the product and to send the mails described below.
  • Your email address when you subscribe to the weekly digest. The signup form on this site sends your address, and nothing else, to Netlify Forms, where it is stored so we can send you the weekly digest. We ask for no name and no other field. The form contains a hidden anti-spam field that real visitors never see and never fill in.
  • Order data. Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record, holds the order and payment records (name, email, billing country, payment method). We never see or store your card details.
  • Anonymous page statistics. Once active, we use GoatCounter for cookieless analytics. It counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. No personal profile is built.
  • Tool parameters. When you or your AI agent call a DataSignals Lab tool or the MCP server, we process only the parameters you send, such as tickers or date ranges, to query the relevant official public source.

What we do not collect

  • The site has no accounts and no logins. Report access works through private links.
  • The signal data itself comes from official, public, non-personal sources (SEC EDGAR, the U.S. House Clerk, openFDA and similar). No personal data of visitors is mixed into it.
  • We do not sell your data, build advertising profiles, or share your email with anyone outside the processors listed below.

Why we use your data

  • To deliver the report or feed you requested or bought.
  • To send you the emails you signed up for. That means the short mail sequence after a free preview, the weekly digest of standout signals, and daily alerts for Pro subscribers.
  • To improve the site, using only aggregate, anonymous statistics.

Processors we use

  • Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. It runs checkout, collects payment, and holds order records under its own privacy policy.
  • Resend delivers our emails once sending is active.
  • GoatCounter provides anonymous, cookieless page statistics once active.
  • Netlify hosts this website and stores the digest signups submitted through the form on it.
  • Apify runs the underlying actors and the MCP server. When you connect through Apify, you sign in with your own Apify account and Apify's privacy policy applies to that account.

How long we keep data

  • Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
  • Order records are kept by Lemon Squeezy under its own retention terms and applicable law.
  • Logs and site statistics are aggregate and are not tied to you as a person.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every mail we send contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately. For any request, write to support@datasignalslab.com.

Sources and accuracy

All outputs are derived from official public sources and link back to the original filing or record where possible. Our products are for research, screening and monitoring. They are not investment advice.

Changes

We may update this policy as the products evolve. Material changes appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
