These terms govern your use of the DataSignals Lab data products and the DataSignals Lab MCP server (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms.
In short: the Services turn official public data into scored signals for research and screening. They are provided "as is", billed per result through Apify, and are not investment advice.
The Services
DataSignals Lab provides self-serve data tools and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that retrieve information from official public sources (such as SEC EDGAR, openFDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, USAspending.gov, the U.S. House Clerk, NIH RePORTER, CoinGecko and the Apple App Store reviews feed) and return scored, structured results with links back to the original source.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to: - resell or redistribute the raw output in a way that competes with or misrepresents the Services; - attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the Services or the underlying platform; - use the Services to violate the terms of the underlying official sources or any applicable law.
Accounts and billing
The Services run on the Apify platform. You connect with your own Apify account and are billed by Apify per result (typically about $0.20 per result). There is no separate DataSignals Lab subscription. Your use of Apify is also governed by Apify's own terms.
Not investment advice
The Services are provided for research, screening and monitoring only. Nothing returned by the Services is investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Scores and signals are derived from public data and historical patterns, which do not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.
Data and accuracy
Outputs are derived from official public sources and provided on a best-effort basis. We do not warrant that results are complete, accurate, current or error-free. Source data may change, be delayed, or be temporarily unavailable.
Warranty disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataSignals Lab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or trading losses, arising from your use of the Services.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Services evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
